Abraham Kevin Spann, director of A. Kevin Spann Insurance in Queens, New York, is embarking on a charity drive to raise donations and support to the survivors of the Hurricane Maria disaster in Puerto Rico. The strongest storm to make landfall in Puerto Rico in 85 years, Hurricane Maria has laid waste to homes, environments, and civil infrastructure.
“Entire communities in Puerto Rico are working to repair the damage done by Hurricane Maria, and portions of the island went without power for as long as three months,” said Spann.
To help generate community support for Hurricane Maria survivors, Spann is planning an invitation based initiative to generate donations. For each person referred into the firm during this event to receive a no cost insurance quote, the Spann team will make a monetary donation to hurricane survivors.
